7.2 Erosion simulation
Raiseland multiplier and Abs(with negative amplitude) features
can simulate erosion:
- We will begin by creating a uniform rocky low frecuency
noise. This noise PDF will have all negative heights set to 0.
- After this, we will create a second noise, this noise will
be a high frecuency noise with the uniform PDF.
- Now, we will create a third noise that will simulate erosion
by setting a negative amplitude with the abs switched on. The previous noises
will be multiplied by this noise as shown on the picture. Note: you can control
the erosion softness by changing the exponent.
